Nottingham City Council has arranged local events to raise awareness of the hundreds of children who need adoptive families who can offer a permanent, loving and stable home.
An invitation to patients, the public and partners to hear about plans to improve urgent care for Heart Attack and Acute Stroke patients on Thursday 3 December.

Vine Community Centre in Bobbers Mill Road, Hyson Green, on Friday 20
November from 5pm to 8pm.
On Monday, 9 November 2009, the government steps up its 999 ACT FAST stroke campaign. The aim is to increase awareness about the symptoms of a stroke and the importance of reacting to warning signs immediately.
NHS Nottingham City and NHS Nottinghamshire County Directors of Public Health Dr Chris Packham and Dr Chris Kenny said: “We urge everyone in the priority groups to take up the opportunity to have this vaccine when they are offered it by their GP in the next few weeks – it will help them avoid getting swine flu and the complications that may arise from it.
